The stock rear end just wasn't doing well, and I ended up replacing it last year.
The stock replacement didn't hold up much better, but it bought me time to finish planning for this project.
The car has been reliable and fun to drive. It sounds great and still gets decent mileage.
The kind of street toy that you can drive daily without worrying.
I've been wanting to do this stage for a while now.
The car will be down for a while while we wait on the transmission build.
That's plenty of time for some upgrades to take this to the next level.
Let's see what Killer Performance and Justune can do with this car.
Dooley Stage 5 8L90E and GForce 9″ IRS Kit, to make sure that I have a solid drivetrain.
DSX Atlas Port Injection, ID1300 to provide all of the fuel that I need
DSX 10 rib and a larger lower pulley to keep belt slip under control
Kong X Port 2650, 120mm snout to support a Nick Williams 112mm TB
BMR 15" conversion, so we can run Forgestar F14 15x10" and get some traction.
