LT1 won’t have the extra connectors for the lower DRL’s like 2016-2018 had. OP will have to splice his existing harness or find a custom harness to power the lower lights.

Its hard to say without seeing it. But the connector the bumper harness connects to is probably still there . Just have to pull the bumper and look. I see cars all the time with connectors that don't connect to anything. Just because in manufacturing its cheaper to make one harness that fits all models
