Well, here is your solution! If you have any other questions about it just let me know, though admittedly making the set up for this was one of the easiest things I have ever done for a vehicle. Someone with your knowled I doubt will have a hard time as well.

Yea it seems pretty easy, i was going to use usb-c instead of usb-a and i have a spare datalink connector from an old gps install harness, i was going to source power and ground from that so that i can plug in what i need with no hardwired parts.
