My rear sensors are tuned out and the plugs are sitting there with nothing plugged into them. You can't tune out the front o2 sensors because those are used for fuel management. Technically it can run with no o2 sensors but it will be in a base setting and have no reference to adjust fuel so it will be very sloppy.
You would be surprised how often just clearing the codes and driving the car will correct issues. Basically just letting it clear itself out.
