one of the Corvette engineers said "they could do everything they needed with four forward gears" but the number of gear was driven by euro trash getting a bunch of gears.
I really miss being able to bark second gear like a four speed auto!
7th gear is 1:1
if you put it in TRACK & manual, it will NOT over rev & blow the engine, it say "down shift denied" or something.
it's fun to open the NPP & paddle shift.
and WOT runs sounds funny, just BRAP BRAP BRAP
but at the end of the day, it does good on MPG and seems to handle the power, and it is fun with paddle shifting.
