You can get to the connectors by taking the lower splash guard bolts out. The assembly screws in from the inside of the bumper so if you replace them i would suggest pulling the bumper off. When I bought the car, a few days later the license plate light bulb burned out. I soldered it back on and it worked again. Then the headlight burned out, and then the other license plate light bulb, which I also soldered.
Now the fourth light that keeps going out or burning out is the fog light. I'm surprised that something related to the lights breaks down so quickly.
I'd rather not take the bumper apart because it's complicated and it might not be put back on properly.
