The Mishimoto MMOC-SPC32-M22SL 32mm Oil Filter Spacer is not intended for an oil cooler. I stand corrected.
The spacer is designed to provide ports for measuring oil pressure or temperature, or, as in my case, to route a small portion of the oil (about 5% flow) to a secondary filter, such as a Frantz bypass oil filter.
