Update with some good news. Fingers crossed! Took the car out tonight and no issues. Didn’t have a long drive but got into good a handful of times for some length and nothing but good performance. Not very likely it was the intake boot. I would guess the injector was either a little stuck or the fuel in it was a little bad to the point it was partially clogging the spray nozzles. Then just driving it a little more got it to clear itself. Hopefully it's all done and good to go for the summer.
