GM on the other hand likes to contract out to the lowest bidder on critical items because the shareholders are the most important thing in the world to them and then when they fail before the warranty is up they are left backpedaling trying to save face by denying claims as much as they can blaming it on the end user or by putting out a TSB acknowledging there's a problem with them but thats usually about as far as they go.


Same goes for the DOD lifters that they had been putting on these darn cars. They're also junk.


If anyone is capable of designing a rock solid forever car, it's actually GM. They've been in the game since the beginning and they understand engine theory and operation better than anyone is capable of knowing at this point (maybe with the exception of Ford but I digress). They just refuse to do it because you know, that wouldn't make them any money and at the end of the day they want and need more of that money.
