Toyota is absolutely not doing this today. They are actually doing everything within their means and power to deny the consumer and make sure that they try and blame them for the failure.
Toyota is a far cry from what they used to be these days and what they produce now is absolute junk. The cab on my 2012 Tacoma is basically disintegrating at this point especially towards the radiator support bulkhead area.
