Arpad, I agree about having black tips. I like them better than chrome.

. My Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back came with chrome tips and I couldn't stand them, so before I put the system on the car, I took them to get powder coated gloss black to match the paint on the car. MUCH better! Just use a polish specifically for powder coating and it cleans them up nicely.
