The weak point is the exposed BCM connectors and wiring.
The photos illustrate how to create a protective block-off plate for these wires.
You nailed it radz28, the BCM connector is exactly what those POS' target to steal GM and Chevrolet vehicles.
There are lots of security solutions out there, but I went with a security DIY harness (CAN Bus Security Dongle Design) so I can still use the well hidden OBD port for my Range Technology AFM and connect a scanner for diagnostics when needed.
BTW. The pad lock on the hood latch in the first picture is a deterrent for the Service Technician if I need it. That latch actually doesn't work anymore because I installed a second hood latch somewhere else.
