I'm not sure why you'd want to tune that out, as the creep function is normally one of the main benefits an auto has over a manual transmission (slow movement in traffic, in and out of parking spots, in reverse, etc) and you can make it stop simply by having light pressure on the brake pedal or shifting the trans to neutral.

i do the same in my manual. 1st gear off the clutch and drag the brake. at 5mph its the speed the idle rpm matches the gear ratio. if i use the brake to slow to 4mph the idle will kinda drag against the brake.
