I’m really excited about these engines. I just hope the 6.7 pulls noticeably better up top than the LT1 and LT2 which die up top.

With the roll back of draconian CAFE, sanity has returned so all this magic for thin oil to cylinder deactivation will go away and V8 will once again last 300K miles.
Now to the C8, I thought about it but ended up getting a Miata that I built to the hilt and supercharged. Here were my issues with the C8
1) The car is wide and in my old city Hilo, it does not fit in many parking spaces.
2) The card is hard to work on
3) the C8 gets pricey with options
4) I like full convertibles
5) My Miata and Camaro are both manual
6) For shorter people / couples the Miata offers a more pleasurable experience
7) the roads here are winding an narrow, the Miata is far more tossable than the Vette.
8) I was worried about c8 transmission failure as I tend to modify and abuse my car)
9) My Miata which I got very low miles 2nd hand lost about 3k over 5 years and the loan was so small I paid it off in 6 months. The Vette I would still be paying and it is way more than 3K loss all it.
