This car is a total pain to check the oil in.
My super dumb procedure I got from someone on here, it's a pain but it seem to work.
1: Let car sit for at least half an hour after a drive (overnight is good)
2: Pull out dipstick, wipe off any oil, DO NOT REINSERT. Place it over the radiator or somewhere clean for storage, lower the hood without actually locking it, and walk away for 15 minutes. Yup.
3: Come back, insert your dipstick back into the hole SLOWLY
4: SLOWLY spin the dipstick around, only a couple revolutions will do
5: SLOWLY remove dipstick again to check level
This seems to be the most reliable way to check the oil.
