You can still find low mile 5th gen’s so I’m not worried about finding a slightly used Camaro in the future. If I come back to the platform it would be in a ZL1. Nothing below that would work for me after what I plan on moving too. Low mile top trims of sports cars are extremely easy to find even ten years later. Folks who buy them don’t drive them much.
I bought my Camaro to track and I don’t track it enough so justify having it. Decided to sell it this coming spring and find something a bit older, raw and more powerful.

try to find yourself a good ZL1 now and save having to trade again if you did get a mustang, the camaro is just a better all around car, the alpha chassis makes the difference, the mustang is on a cheap old chassis.
have you watched all of the savagegeese camaro videos? they explain the differences. they say the 6th gen SS is still better than a S650.
get the regular ZL1 not a 1LE if you do not track much, do not want that suspension for the street lol.
there are also new rumors all the time of a next gen camaro being possible soon on gm authority.
the low mileage ZL1's i saw online were not selling for less than msrp , that is why i stayed with the 2SS, i would not ever need that supercharger for daily driving anyways, i do not race or track.
