The degree of "out of spec" and slop we found in this motor was crazy... could not be happier working with an amazing engine builder who takes his time, and is setting me up for maximum reliability.

I think there must be truth to the "post-covid" builds. I didn't pull a rod cap or anything on mine. Maybe I should have. Oh well. If it breaks, I'll build it again with more cubes. LOL
Your monster is going to be a lot of fun. And when you finally decide to do some 2650 or Whipple testing one day and make a lot of cool new 2650 parts, your rotating assembly will be ready for it.
