If you're doing drop ins, it's not that much more work to do cam. You will still need lifters. Stock profile cam will help maintain some bottom end with that procharger. Generally an aftermarket cam is going to move the power up in the higher rpms which is also where the procharger really starts showing out. I actually think it's a pretty good idea, not to mention it will tune easier.
