Shame the update apparently didn't do much, or if anything made them use a new device that takes 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Hadn't heard much about thefts since the update so was hoping it had been effective, but maybe they just got the workaround going.

Kinda ridiculous that the car needs to be behind several layers of digital and phyisical security or you're not allowed to take it out of the garage. Lot of times I'd like to drive my car to work but I know I'm throwing the dice, so she lives in the garage stacked behind another car in the driveway save for track days or Sunday drives. Coworker unfortunately went through this with a Hellcat, car was in his possession for about a week before he took it to go get lunch and walked out to see it missing 10 minutes later. He has a GT350 now and doesn't have to worry about that stuff.
