These are fantastic cars and I would love to see a return. They are just so nice to drive, and handle so damn well. Plus they look fantastic, I get so many compliments from people. The funny thing is, those same people that compliment it then ask about it, what is it? It seems most people just didn't know they even existed. Mustang, I hate to say it, is more of a household name then Camaro these days. Ford always did really well keeping the name in peoples minds. To the point that, some of those people I end up talking to even ask "Is it a Mustang?" (Let's not get into the fact it's got a damn Chevy badge on it...).
Chevy did have a good thing going with the Transformer movies. Hey, I thought the first one was a fun movie at the time, and the Camaro was a cool looking hero car! It's a shame they had no real marketing plan after that to keep the momentum going.
Also, the SUV takeover...
