Hey all!
I know this is a hotly discussed topic. I need to do a transmission fluid change on my 2018 ZLE with a TR6060. After some research, it looks as though some Tremec rebuilders (such as TX Drivetrain Performance) say full synthetic transmission fluids cause a slight amount of synchro slip wearing them down faster (see screenshot below). They recommend a petroleum based alternative like Valvoline Dex/Merc (which is compatible with the Dexron III standard).
Has anybody had any luck running the Valvoline Dex/Merc fluid?
