LOL- told myself I wasn't gonna post anything this evening, but that right there is funny. And those struts have always worn out too soon! I got tired of buying new ones for my '86 Z-28 and carried a sawed-off broom handle to hold up the rear hatch. I was really under paid back then, but that memory flash back just made me feel embarrassed to have done it.
