I have the oem air pump inflator kit and i have a slime brand one. I keep a tire plug kit. There is no way at all your going to be able to dismount, and break the tire down to patch a tire on the side of the road.

After owning two C5 Corvettes and fixed 3 flats, way easier and safer to remove the wheel so I can Repair the puncture. Hence the jack & lug wrench
Never said anything about roadside tire demounting. Just a simple wheel removal to facilitate a better puncture repair while still ON the rim
PS; Slime ruins Aluminum wheels and really makes a mess to clean up. Plus the fact you'll have to replace your TPMS sensor caused by the slime and it throws the balance off so personally I would only recommend it on rental cars
After using a tire repair kit I can safely drive indefinitely after roadside repair without ruining the wheel and TPMS sliming creates so it's cheaper, safer and way less $$/ time in the long run.
