I only have one key and i'm in the same situation. but randomly sometimes the car will detect the key and then it randomly stops. i thought it was the key fob but i inspected and changed the battery and when the car does detect the key fob, the fob does everything it's supposed too. the car just decides to not detect it sometimes. what is going on? some type of receiver?
