The Supra is actually a really good car. The point of the Z wasn’t to be a performer. It’s a car targeted at Gen X and Boomers because it looks like a past car that they may have owned or wanted to own when they were younger. It has a comfy wide versus a performance oriented ride as their target audience was older folks. I do think it’s about 5k overpriced BUT every vehicle in today’s market is over priced.
Op, some of these aftermarket companies make quality pieces. Do your research and pick the best one. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the sheen matching what you had before. In regards to the sheen, the black on the 1LE mirrors, valance, spoiler and splitter is just standard GM black with a specific clear coat applied (I think it’s a satin clear) to give it its sheen. If you buy one and the sheen is wrong the dealer can probably at least paint it the right color for you
