I can critique the crap out of GM product decisions all day long. But as a CEO she is doing what a good CEO does.
Now we can skip the the fact that she went to GMI like Martinjim and I did
A CEO is the chief decision maker. most seem to think she should be Steve Jobs and inventing the product. Not her job.
As I said if you want to discuss product deficiencies and bad decisions, I’m all in. But she has done one thing consistently. MADE THE COMPANY PROFITABLE.

Funny... I actually grew up a FORD car guy. I've actually owned more Mustangs than Camaros and Corvettes combined. Even owned 4 different Mustangs during my years at GMI

My last two were 1979 Indy Pace Cars. One 2.3T and one 5.0L. Guess you could say I was born to be a Competitor Intelligence Director (the job I retired from at GM).
But you are absolutely correct about the job of CEO versus the job of Product Development head (which Mary has done before). Mark Reuss leads Product Development and is in charge of product strategy and execution. Mary is responsible for balancing everything out and making the company as profitable as possible. I think both are doing an excellent job.
