BtW, if we are talking Octane #s, then how about adding %s of Toluene at 114 or Xylene at 117 Octane to a mix with 100?

Sorry I’m not familiar with those additives so I’m not well versed on their effects. Either way ethanol does a spectacular job of cooling the intake charge which is another big feature vs ant high octane race gas. Ethanol is really a cheat code in these engines regardless of boost level but it pays especially big dividends at big power levels.
