Mike will using the existing pulley setup, 2.3" & 9.45" and get the baseline Dyno. From my understanding, after the build's completed. They will tune/Dyno with the existing 2.3" & 9.45", then pop the 9.6" lower on and tune/Dyno and see which works best out of the two combos. Mike will let me know the results and then we'll decide which combo to leave on the car!

So, after Jax Wax Street Madness drag racing this Saturday. I'll be taking the car up to Katech mid/end of October/first part of November. I got some really good feed back form Joshinator99, radz28, RobZL1, Gabe, King and many others. I realize this build could push the car to the edge of street driving and enjoyability. But, I mostly drive to/from Car's and Coffee, Car Shows, and racing. My car was and never will be a daily, so I think being on the edge will be ok. Maybe after I get the car back and start driving and enjoying it for next summer, fall may be the time I add the Maggie if I feel something needs to change with the build etc. !!!

Build as planned:

Katech Track Day CAM
BTR Dual Value Spring Kit
Katech/Johnson Drop in Lifters
GM Lifter Trays
Trend 3/8 Chromoly Pushrods
Katech VVT Delete Front Cover
CNC Port Cylinder Heads
Competition Valve Job
Hand Blending
Competition Cylinder Head Assembly
GM LT4 Head Gaskets
ARP Head Studs
DSX 9.60" Lower Pulley
Gates HD Green Belt to Proper Length
Katech AFM Delete Valley Cover
GM LS Style Front Crankshaft Seal
GM Crankshaft Bolt
Katech C5-R Timing Chain
Katech Timing Chain Guide
Katech Oil Pump / Billet Wet Sump
DSX Aux Pump Kit
Fragola Fuel Tank Fitting
Brisk Racing Plugs
Coolant, Brake Fluid, Oil & Filter
Gen-V Dyno Tuning including TCU Tuning and Street Tuning
Installation / Build
Build looks great! I have one complaint if I may: the DSX Aux pump does not belong on any car, period. Puncturing the fuel tank below the fuel line is a bad idea and not safe. Furthermore that tank was never designed to be tapped and threaded, and is not thick enough to properly seal an NPT thread. But OEMs never puncture a tank below the fuel lines for fire safety reasons so I’d highly suggest you do something different on a nice build. Both Katech and DSX make proper in tank solutions as does Fore so I’d recommend going with one of those options.
