Caliper Torque Specs confusion
Page 181 on my owners manual says that the Caliper should be tightened to 148 FT Lbs
That is way off from most of the videos and local shop that say 111 ft lbs
and then the internet at
For the 2023 Camaro ZL1, the brake caliper mounting bolts should be tightened to 40 N·m (30 lb ft) + an additional 90 degrees of turn
What is everyone thoughts on this?
what do you tighten your calipers at?
148 ft lbs seems like a lot
