I do believe though that our engines should have been recalled as well since the bottom end of the LT1, L86 and I’m pretty sure the L87 are all the same exact parts. There has been a ton of SS 1LE failures in the Facebook group. There’s no way I’m keeping my car out of warranty.

Yes, thank you for the correction. Not an oiling issue but bad lifters. I bought it with 1950 miles and no issues up to this point. Wondering if i call dealership if they would deactivate AFM....um....probably not. i do drive quite often in manual mode (10 sped auto) so shifting at 5-6k rpm is a pretty regular thing
