The sage continues. The TSB is taken care of and the noise is gone, that's the good news.
They broke a stud on the passenger manifold while dropping the exhaust (it happens, but they probably put a big impact on it rather than heating the nut). The problem is how they repaired it.
I am speaking with them now, but initial conversations are not promising.
