I have to drive 3 hours to get ethanol so won't be getting very often. I know this has been asked many times in some form or another but they must be buried deep as I can't find them. Car dynod up in Vegas at ls fest 2 years ago at 538 hp. I dont think there are anymore cheap mods I could do before a tune besides swapping pulleys, but its too hot here and constantly running 91.

Is your ECM already unlocked? If not, that and licensing are going to be more $$$ on top of a several hundred dollar tune. I think I paid $250 or something, for a simple 2650/RFBG tune 4-years ago (Ben Charles) when I first got into this platform, not counting the $200 in licensing credits for the ECM. E85 is GREAT for this platform and is worth if over 91 FOR SURE, if you can access it. I'm not sure you have enough high side to too much over 700, but my brain's a little foggy at the moment. I believe a guy on YT (used to be) was able to get near 700, with a slightly different combo (but not too much) and get close on something like E30. He got into the 9s on that. Anyways - I don't know, without cooling mods and octane booster that you'll get too far on 91. I don't think I was able to run much more than about 16* at 14-psi on 91. With about 93-94 octane, with booster, I could find up to about 20-21*, but that was pretty aggressive. Maybe a better alternative, to keep performance at low $$$, is a good tune, on octane booster. Maybe look into an KONG/JOKERZ blower port when you can (which would require a tune). Maximizing the 1.7 for maximal $$$:performance on octane booster to help extend the fuel system might be your best bet, IMHO. Br careful with the MTBE though, as it can kill cats' and sensors.
Shops seem to be validating boosters like VP Octanium/ Boostane/ etc (I also had good experience on RaceGas product, too) so that's, probably the most effective bang for the buck in a case like you're describing. E' is better (because of the chamber cooling from the alcohol) but requires A LOT more fueling.
