With that info, I'd say it would be pretty close.
Personally, I'm thinking I want a lengthened/extender and possibly angled back some when I swap mine out. I do that to my RallyCross Miatas to make reaching the shifter easier/quicker from the rapidly twirling steering wheel .... (think autocross in the dirt).
Even do that on my old air-cooled VWs .... because reaching forward and bending down to shift sucks. 😆 But driving those old 50 hp Bugs are sooooo fun.

Unfortunately, there's no shift knob extenders for 6th gen camaros that I'm aware of. Raceseng went out of business, but they used to sell 1.5" and 3.5" extenders that were compatible with their shift knobs (I have their 1.5" version). Beyond that, the only option I know of is the hurst ball short shifter, then find a universal aftermarket extender that will fit the threads on the shifter.
