The crankshaft issue is occuring because the engine is eating itself up on the inside from the original recommendation of using 0-20 oil on the 6.2's and they recommend using 0-40 as a solution. Apparently the solution has been working. There are two fixes for the issue. One involves getting the engine replaced and then running original oil recommendations and the other involves just switching to 0-40 if they deem your engine is still okay.
