Ya I've dropped my pan a few times. Pull the steering shaft, then the plugs for the rack and the 2 main bolts on the subframe. I let it hang there to get the front pan bolts, pull motor mount bolts, pull the crank pulley, water pump, factory catch can, remove front cover. Then I lift from the trans, remove oil cooler, remove pan. You wont have to drop the subframe as i did the first time removing this. If it doesnt slide out the crank may have to get rotated as the counter weights can block the pan from sliding back
