The cwa150 does not turn off. It has no internal logic.
But the explanation seems true, it somehow went off and some fluid started to boil.
Because even with the cap open, filling resevoir entirely and closing it, turning off the pump results to trigger the overpressure valve.

The fluid level decreases with pump running and increases again if it stops. The fluid pressure together with slight drainback triggers the overpressure valve. So I used only a half filled resevoir and had no issues until once today. Even on race track it was okay.
