Overall I have been very happy with my upgrade to SS sized rear wheels and tires (9.5" w/275/35/20) and the huge improvement of Conti DWS06+ High performance all-seasons over the stock 245 runflats.

However, I have been considering splurging on a 2nd set wheels to get 1LE style wheels (that look great!) with wider summer performance tires but if I do wanted to keep as close to stock tire diameter as possible. I don't want to go with the standard 1LE tire sizes for same reason you indicated that especially front tire is smaller diameter than rear when my LT1 suspension is not setup for that.

I certainly agree that 275/35/20 fronts and 315/30/20 rears is best option to keep close to stock diameter. Main downside is the 315/30/20 size has pretty limited (and expensive) tire choices to pick from vs 305/30/20 size.
So I was wondering thoughts on (and/or if anyone has tried) down one width in front and rear of 265/35/20 fronts (-1.4% from stock) with the 305/30/20 size rear tires (-1.8% from stock). A little less than 2% smaller diameter than stock for both (which isn't ideal) but at least still pretty close to even front and rear.
My Camaro is a DD so I think 265 front width will be wide enough for me.

The primary concern I have is if going with 265 instead of 285 on the 10" 1LE front wheel wouldn't look right? (I do think it is within acceptable range for that wheel size).

Thoughts on whether this is a decent 2nd choice option or not?
