I may be wrong but this seems like a "brand new to you" car, and it also seem like you don't know what has been done to this car. This car may have been tuned for some part or parts that were put on that you don't know about and you could be making things bad if that's the case. I would suggest trying to find out some information about if anything is done to the car before you just go have the tune changed. If there's anyway you can contact the original owner would be your best bet to see why it was tuned out. Only because I don't know to many people that would waste money on a tune just to shut off the valves, you don't even want to spend that much to get your valves working.

I asked if i could have the info to talk to the original owner, and I was told that wasn`t legal in Kentucky, they can not give you the info of the previous owner, only the Carfax report. but I`m beginning to think it`s not been tuned from talking with other owners of camaro and corvettes.
