The performance mode keeps the revs high to faster accelerate out of corners.
Only issues might be hot engine oil temps and a little higher trans fluid temps.

But with mine, I can't really accelerate fast out of corners, steering angle combined with throttle cuts noticeable the power.
Did you notice the same? I probably have to reprogram my traction control with the torque.
I will be tracking tomorrow.

Accelerating out of corners were alot better, I adjusted Traction control with hptuners. It was not aligned anymore caused by mods.

I've done two events, first one was rainy during the first half and dry in during the latter half. I flipped from Rain to Sport 1 and was really happy with the car all around. I recently did an event at a track I had only been to once before and which also had much less room for error. With that in mind I kept it in DRY for every session. The car felt really off to me and I was not happy with the balance or performance of the car. Checking my PDR after I saw the nannies light on over half of each session lol. The description from the other threads discussing PTM (about using dry if you're learning the track or for newbies) is apt, but it steps in quite a bit to limit rotation and is way too conservative on power application once you have your lines down.

I have read that the step up from sport 1 to sport 2 is quite dramatic though. I remember video from a nice c7 that spun out entering the track and slammed into the wall before flipping on its roof. Consensus was that if the guy had left it in sport 1 like he had prior that wouldn't have happened.
