Is that wire harness hard to find slack on some cars? Or did you not want to bother putting it on the other side of the coolant tank? I have yet to dig down there on my car so IDK what it's looking like here. I been debating headers for over a year for this car. I'm hoping the heat issues I been reading about are just blown out of proportion due to installation error, not moving harness and such.
It has slack, but I do not see how you can get it to the other side of the coolant tank. There were a few threads on here I found before I did mine, and it seemed the consensus was to pull it over to the coolant tank, wrap it, and strap it down somehow, so that’s what I did. It’s a good ways away from the headers, so I’m not worried about it.

I wrapped it, along with part of the column, and also some of the stuff on the drivers side. Might of went overkill, but had plenty of that wrap to use up. I wouldn’t let any heat issues deter you from headers, just take your time and wrap/move whatever you see close, and all will be fine. Hard to explain it all, but you’ll know what to do once you begin with installing them. I think all the nightmare stories are from people who didn’t wrap, and didn’t pay attention to how close everything was…
