Unlike conventional shocks, when magnarides fail, they warp and seize providing zero movement.
Years ago I managed a small fleet of full-size SUVs, several had magnaride. The failure rate of the magnarides was about double the conventional equivalent. We frequently saw replacements needed less than 50k miles with the same failure mode you're experiencing.
Even though the Camaro is far lighter than a Tahoe, at 88,000 miles I'd suspect your issue is the shocks themselves and not the control module.
