Ive heard the LT4 System cant support much more than the LT1 and tops out at around 750 - 800whp, Ive been looking into port injection kits but the prices vary wildly and I dont know exactly where to begin with that. I was looking at the Toohighpsi Port Injection Plates and Injectors but do I need more than that to convert to port injection?

Running Ethanol is what kicks DI systems in the teeth, otherwise their power ceilings are pretty stout. Making reliable/consistent power without E is the other edge of the sword at the power level you're aiming for. There's some great fueling threads over in the FI Tech section you should check out. A lot of reading, but great info on some of the latest & greatest options as well.
As to your question, while it wouldn't hurt to be on an LT4 fueling system if you're going to run Ethanol, and you should run E, the DI system will only carry the load for the hand-off to the Port Injection system. In theory, you shouldn't have to touch the LT1 system if you're going port injection, as the LT1 system is just to keep the car running. Any real grunt work is going to lean on the port injectors. As far as a parts list, you're going to need a controller for the port injection system, along with in-tank pumps, lines, and hardware. I would really do some reading in that FI Tech section. Particularly if you're tackling this yourself. Talk directly with vendors, as well. Most are eager to help and educate.
