If you drive stick well and enjoy it, you’ll absolutely regret buying an automatic. Even in the worst rush hour traffic for an hour, I’m happy to keep shifting. Although, if you really know your car you can learn how to finesse the throttle on the right gear (first or second) to keep rolling slowly and stay with the fuel of traffic without shifting much or at all, so long as it’s not a dead stop.

I’ve owned nothing g but manuals since 1997. I’ll never go automatic anything. Ever.
