GM's idea of a fix for this issue when you bring it into the dealership?

Replace the defective valve body with the same defective valve body. Its why people have their trans taking a shit right after they get them "fixed" by a dealership.

There is no mileage buffer either. Some reported issues have cars with 3000-5000 miles on them, and others with 120,000 miles having the issue.
