With regard to adding an additional ground, I'd always add it in a place that others have already done without issue. I know the Silverado's have issues with certain sensors NOT reading voltage properly when people have added grounds in the wrongs spots. I guess some factory grounds will actually ground THROUGH a sensor. A new ground provides a new path for electricity to flow though. LOTS of people on the truck forums will tell you BETTER grounds not MORE grounds.



Not sure if that's a Camaro thing, BUT....can't hurt to be mindful of that.
