Port Injection will always make less power vs DI is all else is equal. But the overhead of having port will let you push the power further.

I've tuned both. The advantage of the 2HPSI is that you have more control over when the port system kicks in. In some setups this is an advantage but not always. On the ATLAS side, its almost like an easy button. I do wish it had some more granular ability to activate port when you want, but its not really an issue. You just have to play with the tune a bit.

Basically 2HPSI triggers via MAF and ATLAS triggers by SOI. Both have real time correction capability. Overall it took less time to dial in the ATLAS setup vs the 2HPSI, especially if you're not an experienced tuner. A novice could do the ATLAS on their own. But you have to be advanced to do the 2HPSI.

I would pick the ATLAS setup 8 out of 10 times for the stuff I tune. Other tuners may tune things that don't match up with me and have different opinions. I have a couple of setups where I find prefer the 2HPSI because I can start the injection earlier and a couple other things but those are specific cases. It's more the capability/flexibility of the Reflex controller at that point.

Dave @ DSX and Team did a great job on the Atlas platform and if you're looking to run full E on your LT4 street setup, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks for taking the time on that explanation. Great info for sure. I think it is awesome that DSX is pushing the boundaries, and was able to bring a complicated product to market as fast as they have. Seems like it will be successful and just another option for us to go faster and make more power.
