Couldn’t agree more. What you described is exactly what Ford did with the new generation of Mustang. Only thing I’ll add is I want more power as I feel that’s what it needs to continue laying the smack down on cars that cost more than it. This can easily be solved by slightly modifying the LT2 to fit and work in a non mid engine car. Take the LT1 block and oiling system, throw the LT2 intake, heads and cam which should all bolt up (intake will take very slight modification) and bam you got 485 HP in the next gen Camaro. Use the existing Camaro manifolds which is why I’d rate it 10HP lower than the LT2 in the vette.
