I had 13 years in a former Bethlehem steel mill and currently almost 18 years in a power plant and I can tell you both had times where there were outside influences that suggested hiring based on race and gender. Both companies complied. Shouldn't a business be allowed to hire based on the merits and content of character of the applicants no matter the race, creed or orientation?
