Hiring practices based solely on race, etc., is indeed discrimination. (Likely soon to be recognized as illegal and unconstitutional and the end of a "woke" creation.)

Pretty sure GM isn't hiring anyone solely on race, creed, sex or orientation. One thing GM's HR is good at is making sure they don't get sued.
