If you have to pick between a non ported LT5, or ported stock 87, just get the LT5. Porting isn't cheap and can be problematic to tune, where the LT5 is very affordable and tuners know it well. Plus you can still have your stock 87 if you ever need it, or wanted to sell it to recoup some cost.
